The included 3 filter types are tailored for specific filtration purposes, collectively ensuring crystal clear, great-tasting drinking water every time.
- This kit includes one 5-Micron Sediment Filter (WP104017) for reducing particulate matter like dirt, silt, and rust that affect the taste and appearance of your water and one 5-Micron Activated Carbon Pre-Filter (WP101009) for conditioning the water and reducing chlorine tastes and odors.
- Also includes one 10" GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) Inline Post-Filter (WP560010) with a flow rate of 0.5 gpm (1.9 lmp) and capacity of 1500 gallons. This filter is most effective at removing chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water, such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine; they are not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic compounds. The filter includes 1/4" FNTP connections, though a compression tee is not included.
